Sink Faucet Sphere

Only the Hot Water in the Kitchen Faucet is diminished not the cold. How to fix?

already checked & cleaned the aerator and screen & removed a bunch of tiny white spheres (calcium?). The lower part of the faucet appears to have a gaping hole in the front where the cylindrical part attaches to the horizontal platform which attaches the entire mechanism to the sink.

did you check the pilot in the hot Water Heater?
